A BRIEF HISTORY OF
BALD EAGLE RANCH, LLC
USDA RANCH 3432; TRACT 10621
Subject ranch was incorporated in Texas in 1994, the same year we designed and built our Bandera ranch. Our experience with Quarter Horses, Mules and Cattle was pretty well covered in the September 1997 issue of Western Horseman – the world’s largest equine publication. “The Bandera Kick-Back” was a four-page feature story.
In the past 24 years the ranch has been operating in three states – Texas, Virginia and South Carolina. Each location was designed and built with the same basic concept and purpose as the original Texas ranch. Another four-page feature story appeared in the May 2003 issue of Western Horseman.
Bald Eagle Ranch has been, and still is, recognized by The United States Department of Agriculture in all three states.
Unfortunately, as we get older, unexpected things happen. At the age of 80, I have experienced some medical setbacks — which includes four surgeries — and the time to downsize and “slow down” have been reached. For this reason, our ranch is available for a new owner.
The Ranch central geographical location in Cassatt/Camden area with approximately 8 miles to downtown Camden and 11.5 miles to South Carolina Equine Park — one of the leading show facilities in the State — and trail riding from the barn are both convenient and practical.
What is the asking price? Even though there is a professional appraised value, we do not have an asking price. Let me explain.
First of all, as we are both downsizing and retiring, there are a number of options available and open for discussions. Secondly, in order to purchase any product, including any form of real estate, the number one decision for the buyer is whether or not he is interested and willing to pursue a purchase. This is especially true when it comes to Agricultural Products. To the best of my knowledge, it is only two steps available to make that decision correctly:
Get all possible FACTS in writing!
If you find the FACTS to be interesting, follow-up with a physical inspection. If you are satisfied with what you see and received satisfactory answers to all your possible questions, the price can be negotiated and agreed upon.
As the owners, we are available at any time to show you the ranch. Just give us a call, Ake’s cell 803-669-4090 or Marcia’s cell 803-669-4091. If more convenient contact us by email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
